Role Description The Food Specialist is a full-time, on-site role located at Hotel Karni Bhawan in Jodhpur. This role is responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting food items according to the hotel’s standards and menu guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include handling food production in the kitchen, supporting cooking and plating during service, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation areas. The Food Specialist collaborates with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely, high-quality food service and consistent guest satisfaction.



The role may also involve assisting in menu development, monitoring inventory related to food ingredients, and adhering to safety and quality regulations.
Qualifications

Robust skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, with the ability to follow recipes and standard operating procedures.
Experience or familiarity with Food & Beverage operations, including coordination with service staff.
Background in Food Service, with an understanding of guest expectations and presentation standards.
Effective Communication skills to work closely with kitchen colleagues and front-of-house teams.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen sanitation requirements.
Ability to work on-site in Jodhpur in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Prior experience in hotel or restaurant kitchens is preferred; formal culinary training or certification is an advantage.
