In this role, the Category Senior Manager will be responsible for leading complex, high-value strategic sourcing initiatives across Commercial and Real-World Evidence (RWE) Data. The role will partner closely with Global Category Leads, Procurement Business Partners, and business stakeholders to translate category and business strategies into effective sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier strategies that deliver measurable value to Amgen.
Your mission will extend to fostering collaboration,



enabling enterprise-wide initiatives, and championing change to position Global Procurement as a strategic value driver within the organization. Through strong stakeholder engagement, market expertise, and team-oriented leadership, this role positions Procurement as a trusted advisor and strategic enabler of business outcomes
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of global category strategies and business priorities, in partnership with Category Management and Procurement Business Partners.
Develop strong relationships with commercial, finance, and functional leadership to build trust and position procurement as a strategic partner in decision making.
Translate business priorities into actionable procurement initiatives that deliver measurable value, including cost optimization, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation.
Champion procurement initiatives and ensure adoption of procurement process
