About the Job

As a Software Engineer – Data & Java, you will combine your solid Java development and data systems experience to build and maintain scalable backend and data-driven services. You will work on data processing, integrations, and enterprise applications while collaborating with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable technical solutions

What you’ll do

Develop and maintain Java-based services and data processing components.
Build scalable solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and system integration.
Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
Support system design, implementation, testing, and production operations.
Improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of backend and data services.
Troubleshoot defects and production issues across application and data layers.
Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and engineering best practices.





What you’ll need

4+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong Java development skills.
Experience working with data-oriented systems, ETL processes, or backend data services.
Understanding of APIs, databases, and distributed application design.
Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in collaborative Agile teams.
Ability to ramp into existing systems and contribute quickly.
Strong delivery focus across application and data engineering work.
Comfortable working in cross-functional engineering environments.
Experience with Spark, Kafka, or large-scale data platform tools.

Nice-to-Have:

Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and data pipeline operations.
Experience supporting high-volume enterprise systems.
