Role Description The Junior Sales Representative role at MagicText is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves identifying and contacting potential customers, presenting MagicText’s Bulk SMS solutions, and demonstrating how the platform can meet their communication and marketing needs. The Junior Sales Representative will follow up on leads, prepare basic proposals and quotations, and assist in closing deals under the guidance of senior sales team members. Daily activities include maintaining accurate records in the CRM,



coordinating with support and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding, and providing ongoing account servicing for small to mid-size clients. The role also requires participating in sales meetings, learning product features and updates, and contributing to achieving individual and team sales targets.
Qualifications
Ability to understand and explain technology-based products and platforms in transparent, simple terms.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in making calls, giving presentations, and engaging clients face-to-face.
Basic sales skills, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiation support, and follow-up.
Comfort with using CRM or similar tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
Good organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple prospects and tasks efficiently.
