Role Description This is a part time, remote role for a Digital Content Creator at Jharkhand Updates. The Digital Content Creator will be responsible for ideating, producing, and publishing digital content tailored to Jharkhand’s audience, including short-form posts, long videos, stories, and graphics for social media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring local trends and news, researching topics, scripting and creating content, optimizing posts for reach and engagement. The role also involves basic content editing,



maintaining brand voice.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in social media content creation, short & long -form storytelling, and basic video editing.
Candidates should possess skills in research, digital writing, and adapting content to different platforms and formats.
Candidates should possess skills in basic graphic design, photo/video editing, and visual storytelling tools (e.g., Canva, mobile editing apps).
Relevant qualifications include excellent command of English and Hindi (knowledge of regional languages is an advantage), strong awareness of Jharkhand news and culture, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in digital media or influencer content, familiarity with online safety and ethical reporting practices, and a portfolio of previous content work.
