Job Description – Senior Executive, Logistics

Travel Requirement: Hyderabad and other client sites, as required

Role Overview

The Senior Executive – Logistics will manage the safe and timely delivery and unloading of marble at client sites. The role requires close coordination with transporters, clients’ operations teams, site supervisors and internal departments to ensure smooth unloading with minimal or no damage.

The candidate will be based in Bangalore but must travel to Hyderabad whenever required. Depending on site requirements, the candidate may need to stay in Hyderabad for up to 15 consecutive days.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with transporters, drivers, clients and internal teams to ensure vehicles reach client sites on time.
Remain present at the client site until the entire consignment is safely unloaded, inspected and formally handed over.
Ensure marble slabs and products are handled and unloaded safely, with minimal or no damage.
Coordinate the availability of labour, cranes,



forklifts and other unloading equipment at the site.
Build and maintain robust relationships with the client’s operations team, site supervisors, contractors and security personnel.
Address client queries related to delivery, material quantity, documentation, damage or shortages.
Manage last-minute operational issues such as vehicle delays, unloading restrictions, labour shortages, equipment unavailability and site-access challenges.
Verify the material quantity and condition against the dispatch documents.
Immediately report any shortage, breakage or damage and coordinate with the relevant teams for resolution.
Obtain proper acknowledgement and Proof of Delivery after successful unloading.
Provide timely updates to the management regarding vehicle movement, unloading progress, client concerns and delivery completion.
Travel to Hyderabad and other client sites whenever required.
Stay at the client location for extended periods,
