POSITION SUMMARY

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to act as the local subject matter expert for a major enterprise customer, supporting a broad range of routing, switching, and firewall technologies within a complex global environment. As part of a follow-the-sun support model, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance critical network infrastructure while collaborating closely with international teams to ensure excellent service availability, performance, and security. We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused professional with solid technical expertise, a passion for well-governed and documented network environments, and the ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 7+ years' experience in enterprise network engineering, supporting large-scale, business-critical environments.
Ideally Cisco CCNP R&S; certified with demonstrable hands-on experience designing, implementing and supporting complex network infrastructures.




Desirable - CCIE certified (or equivalent expert-level networking certification)
Strong hands-on technical expertise across Cisco routing and switching technologies, including advanced troubleshooting, configuration and optimisation.
Proven experience administering and supporting Meraki network environments, including firewalls, wireless, switching and SD-WAN solutions.
Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco, Dell, Fortinet, FS logic, Meraki switches.
Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Meraki, Sophos firewalls, including policy management, VPNs, NAT, high availability and security best practices.
Strong understanding of network protocols, switching, and routing technologies, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SD-WAN, DNS and DHCP, and VLANs, VTPs, STP, Trunking, VPC, VXLAN, Spine-leaf, and best practices
Advanced troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform detailed root cause analysis across network, security and connectivi
