Role Description
This is a full time on-site role for an Accounting Assistant located in Mumbai. The Accounting Assistant will work closely with our Finance and Purchase Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day accounting and compliance operations, using accounting software, performing general accounting tasks, managing finance-related activities, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records. Additional responsibilities include supporting the accounting team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and preparing reports as needed. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Account Executive to join our team.

Key Activities




Handle day-to-day accounting operations using Tally Prime
Support in TDS filing, GST returns, and compliance activities
Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports
Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and relevant government departments as required
Manage vendor payments and reconciliation processes
Provide administrative and clerical support including typing and data entry tasks

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field (mandatory)
Knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles
Proficiency in Tally Prime Accounting Software
Working knowledge of TDS and GST filings
Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Bookkeeping skills, good typing speed and attention to detail
Ability to work under supervision and deliver within timelines
