Role Description
This is a full-time in office role for an Academic Advisor located in Coimbatore. The Academic Advisor will assist students with tailored guidance for academic and career options, including helping students select courses, plan educational paths, and secure admissions to international universities. Daily tasks include one-on-one student counselling, providing resources for scholarships and test prep, and offering expert advice on navigating the application and admissions process.



The Academic Counsellor will also collaborate with internal teams to refine counseling processes, participate in workshops or information sessions, and contribute to outreach activities that promote the organization’s services.

Qualifications
Strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support students across diverse academic and personal backgrounds
Strong communication skills and the ability to connect effectively with diverse students
Proficiency in Career and Education guidance to help students understand global study options and career pathways
Ability to build trust with students and families, demonstrating cultural sensitivity, and professional integrity
Experience working in academic advising, study abroad consulting, or education services, preferably with international admissions exposure
Comfort with using digital tools and basic data management systems to track student progress and coordinate
