Assistant to the Director – Medical Services

We are looking for a highly organised and dependable professional to support the Director – Medical Services in the day-to-day administration and coordination of hospital operations.
The role will involve coordinating with clinical departments, administration, HR, procurement, finance, and external stakeholders, while ensuring timely follow-up on key initiatives and action items.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the Director’s calendar, meetings, correspondence, agendas, and follow-ups.
Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical departments on action items.
Draft, proofread, and format official communications, reports, and presentations.
Support compliance requirements related to NABH, NHA/Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, ESIC and CGHS.
Prepare and consolidate MIS reports, including attendance, payroll, procurement and operational dashboards.
Liaise with government bodies, empanelment agencies, vendors and auditors.
Maintain confidential records and documentation.




Track licences, renewals, audits and accreditation deadlines.
Support hospital events, training programmes and internal communications.
Assist with special projects and research assignments.
Support the hiring of Consultant Doctors through professional networks and job portals.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MHA/MBA preferred.
2–5 years of experience in hospital administration, executive assistance, or healthcare operations support.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and confidential information.
Strong professional judgment and ability to work across clinical and non-clinical teams.
