Job Description – R&D-Thiruvallur; Plant(Chennai)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of new resin-based products aligned with market requirements and business strategy.
- Design, formulate, evaluate, and validate resin systems for construction chemical applications.
Improve existing products for enhanced performance, durability, application properties, and customer satisfaction.
- Optimize formulations and raw materials to reduce cost without compromising quality or performance.
Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, batch consistency, quality, and efficiency.
- Establish and standardize critical process parameters and controls.
- Execute Stage-Gate NPD activities, including project planning, laboratory trials, pilot trials, and commercial validation.
- Coordinate with Product Management, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Marketing for timely commercialization.
- Lead technical investigations, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and CAPA for resin-related complaints.
- Implement effective corrective and preventive actions.




Provide technical support for production trials, process validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to all Weber Plants.
