- Business Architecture professional responsible for translating strategy into execution, capability moClienting, target operating model design, architecture governance, stakeholder alignment, and value realization.

Essential Job Functions:

Strategy to Execution
- Translate strategy into outcomes, capability roadmaps, and a prioritised portfolio of initiatives.
- Clear traceability from strategic goals to funded work and measurable outcomes.

Capability MoClienting
- Define/maintain capability maps, value streams, and domain models; identify gaps, overlaps, and dependencies.
- Agreed capability baseline and heatmaps that drive investment decisions.

Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Design and evolve TOM elements (people, process, governance, service model, controls).




- Practical TOM with clear accountabilities, decision rights, and transition plan.

Change Shaping & Prioritisation
- Partner with Product, Transformation, Technology, Data, Risk and Compliance to shape scope and priorities work.
- Early clarity on scope, dependencies, and sequencing; fewer late surprises.

Process & Journey Alignment
- Map and improve end-to-end journeys/processes, balancing customer, colleague, and regulatory outcomes.
- Reduced friction and rework; controls embedded by design.

Architecture Governance
- Provide business architecture input to forums; ensure adherence to principles/standards and decision traceability.
- High-quality governance submissions; consistent decisions and reusable patterns.

Benefits & Outcomes
- Define OKRs/KPIs, perks cases, and value realisation plans; track outcomes post-release.
- Outcomes measured and reported; benefits realised (not just delivered).
