Purpose of the Role
The role and responsible is interact with key stakeholders (internal & external) to track current and future global trends in product sustainability and climate change adaptation in automobile sector
Job Responsibility
Co-create short, medium and long term product plans with CV and PV product planning teams to align with TML level sustainability targets.
Co-create technology roadmap with ERC to converge with CV and PV product plans.
Identify opportunities for Innovation and Research projects (in-house and externally anchored) on sustainability and establish an engagement and governance model around the same.
Identify opportunities to engage with start-ups working in the sustainability solutions space and develop pilot projects.
Work closely with product development and LCA Team to develop dashboards on product sustainability attributes and KPIs with defined metrics.
Comparative analysis and benchmarking of product sustainability attributes among Automobile OEMs for internal use.
Interface with external stakeholders - Subject Matter Experts, Academia,



Consultancy Organizations, Service Providers, Industry professionals, etc., on executing above responsibilities and achieving defined milestones/targets

Bachelor Equivalent - Other, Post Graduate
Work Experience: 10-12 years in automobile R&D; set-up
Skills & Competencies
In-depth knowledge of ESG metrics, Sustainability assessment and reporting standards/frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, etc.) and protocol for GHG emission calculation and reporting.
Working knowledge of implementing sustainability strategies for decarbonization, circularity, and environmental performance improvement.
Project management tools
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of LCA too
