8+ year experience working on development and support of enterprise software in a distributed environment within the financial services industry -

preferably within the area of asset management

hands-on development experience using sql,database skills required – oracle 19C,PostgreSQL

knowledge of shell scripting and scheduler tools like autosys, control-m etc.

knowledge of guideline monitoring vendor products (e.g. fidessa sentinel) is a strong plus

Good exposure of Oracle to PostreSQL migration

assessing the current Oracle setting, preparing the PostgreSQL target, converting the schema and data, migrating the data, and finally, testing and validating the migrated database
