Description for Senior Back-end Developer

Kavi India Software
Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Back-end
Developer with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Python application
development. You should be highly proficient in Python and have strong
experience building scalable, secure, high-performance enterprise applications.
You should have hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs, web
applications, and backend services using modern Python frameworks. A positive
understanding of software architecture, testing, performance optimization,
security, and cloud-based application development is essential.

A Senior Python Developer
should be capable of quickly understanding an existing product, its business
objectives, application architecture, technical design, and development
practices, and should be able to take ownership of the assigned modules or applications
with minimal guidance. The candidate should be able to analyse independently requirements, understand technical dependencies, make appropriate design
decisions,



and effectively roll out solutions within the expected timelines.

The candidate should also be able to guide and
mentor other developers, provide technical direction to the team, participate
in architectural and design discussions, and ensure that development activities
follow established engineering standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Take
end-to-end ownership of assigned backend applications, modules, and technical
deliverables.
- Write
clean, maintainable, scalable, and high-performance code using Python.
- Develop
web applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using frameworks such as
FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Quickly
understand existing product architecture, business requirements, application
workflows, technical designs, and development practices.
- Analyse
business and functional requirements and translate them into appropriate
technical solutions.
