About The Job:
- Client team is looking for the role that supports application security posture by monitoring WAF alerts, validating blocks/alerts, and coordinating with application owners for incident escalation and tuning requests.
Essential Job Functions:
- Monitor Cloudflare WAF or equivalent platform for threats.
- Validate WAF policy violations and escalate false positives/negatives.
- Coordinate with L2 and application teams for tuning rules.
- Support basic log analysis related to web threats.
- Ensure WAF availability and uptime monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 6 to 8 years
Skills:
- WAF L1 Support
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and HTTP protocols.
- Basic exposure to Cloudflare or equivalent WAF solution.
- Awareness of web attack vectors and mitigation techniques.
- Certifications (preferred): CEH, Cloudflare WAF Essentials.
