About The Client:

Client is a life insurance company in India. The firm offers life insurance products targeted at individuals and groups, catering to four distinct segments: protection, children, retirement and investment plans.

Essential Job Functions:
- Review of product specification for new products
- Ensuring pricing models are in line with company’s internal guidelines and relevant regulations
- Preparing filing documents to be submitted to IRDAI/ PMC
- Preparing response to IRDAI queries on filing
- Performing analysis of individual and group pricing models
- Adept at using excels and creating macros to perform premium rate generation and profit testing
- Assisting the Product team in setting up the system for new product launch
- Support in creating meaningful relationships with relevant stakeholders like Sales, Investments, IT, Customer Service, Legal & Compliance and Risk
- Good knowledge of Regulations / Circulars / Guidelines
- Support in other areas of actuarial work on need basis




- Good teamwork and positive attitude to work is a must
- Team Management

- Internal: All Internal Stakeholders
- External: Vendors or Consultants

Qualifications:

Skills & Competencies:
- Delivery of all assigned work items tasks accurately & timely manner

Requirement:
- Qualified Actuary or Nearly qualified actuary with 13-14 papers

Relevant Work-experience Required:
- At least 5 years in product pricing is must
- Proficient in Excel and word
- Should have good understanding of actuarial principles
