Essential Job Functions:
- Manage and support Windows server infrastructure.
- Perform installation, configuration, and patching of servers.
- Troubleshoot server, OS, and VMware-related issues.
- Handle L2 incidents and act as an escalation point for L1.
- Manage VM provisioning, snapshots, and migrations.
- Monitor system performance and optimize resources.
- Perform backup and restoration activities.
Qualifications:
Skills
- Windows Server installation, configuration, and patching (2016 / 2019 / 2022 / 2025).
- Active Directory (AD),
DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy administration.
- VMware (v6.5 / 7 / 8): vSphere and vCenter administration.
- VM provisioning, vMotion, and snapshots.
- Hands-on support with Client, Client, and Client servers.
- Backup tools.
- Monitoring tools.
- Ticketing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Incident and problem management.
- SLA adherence.
