The Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced professional to build and scale chosen categories through driving supplier partnerships at national and regional levels. The role addresses the complete cycle for Seller Management – Identification, Onboarding, Engagement and Business Delivery. While establishing deep seller relationships, you’d also work towards building an exhaustive product assortment across the country to drive buyer fulfilment. Your success will be measured by achievement of monetization and P&L; goals for categories identified.

What You Will Do:

· Own the Revenue and Margin objectives for the categories assigned

· Developing a deep understanding of the category on dimensions of:

o Market and Sub-Category opportunities

o Product and Price segments

o Leading Sellers (National and Regional)

· Devise the strategy and roadmap for Product assortment basis the understanding developed

· Build an exhaustive product assortment through identification and sign-ups of sellers in sync with the strategy outlined





· Establish a preferred partnerstatus with all suppliers; own business metrics and conduct monthly business reviews with key decision makers

· Understanding drivers of Seller engagement & buyer experience; drive passionately

· Working cross-functionally (demand, operations, product, logistics, credit) to solving problem and solution for the various needs of the business

· Ideating, implementing and delivering high impact

Experience in the Steel industry (esp. with Flat products) desired
