Job Description – Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager (L06–L08)
Department: Commercial & Purchase - Procurement – JSW Energy

Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement: PR to PO, vendor finalization, negotiations, and order placement.
- Prepare RFQ, comparative statements, techno-commercial evaluation and recommendation notes.
- Negotiate commercial terms: price, delivery, payment, warranty, LD, PBG, retention.
- Execute PO creation/amendments/closures in SAP (MM) as per approval matrix.
- Coordinate with engineering/site teams for timely material/service procurement.
- Manage vendor performance, delivery follow-up, and resolve commercial issues.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policy, documentation, and audit requirements.
- Support invoice processing, GRN coordination, and payment tracking with finance team.
- Track package budget and generate MIS reports on procurement status & savings.

Skills Required




- Procurement & contract knowledge, robust negotiation skills
- SAP MM experience, GST/commercial understanding
- Vendor management and coordination with stakeholders

Qualification:
Graduate Engineer - Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, CIVIL etc.
MBA in Supply Chain / Project management preferable but not mandatory

Job Location:
Seawoods, Navi Mumbai

Experience
- 2–4 years in project procurement preferable (Power/Renewable/Thermal/EPC preferred)
