Job Summary:
We are looking for a strong Backend Developer to build, operate, and improve large-scale distributed systems and backend applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java and Python, distributed systems, microservices, Kafka/event streaming, and production engineering.

This role requires someone who can not only develop new features but also debug complex production issues, improve system performance and reliability, build automation, and work with high-scale systems handling large volumes of data and traffic.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, enhance, and maintain scalable backend applications and distributed systems.
- Develop recent features and solutions using strong backend engineering fundamentals.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex production issues and drive permanent fixes.




- Work with high-throughput, scalable systems and large-scale datasets.
- Build and support microservices and event-driven/streaming applications.
- Drive automation, operational improvements, and engineering excellence.
- Improve system scalability, resiliency, reliability, and performance.
- Participate in incident management and on-call support when required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and sprint plans.
- Continuously identify system gaps and drive improvements through automation and better engineering practices.

Must-Have Skills:
- 5–7 years of relevant backend engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Python.
- Experience building and supporting large-scale distributed systems and distributed applications.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and scalable backend systems.
