Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and expand Playwright-based UI test automation for a newly built Angular/TypeScript application
- Extend the existing automation suite (currently limited to lightweight sanity coverage of 1–2 features) to achieve solid sanity coverage across all product features
- Progressively build toward full regression coverage
- Collaborate closely with the in-house engineering team in Bangalore to understand features, requirements, and priorities before implementation
- Ensure automation deliverables are production-ready with minimal rework iterations

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript (mandatory)
- Proven experience with Playwright test automation
- Solid foundational front-end engineering skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team
- Strong requirement-gathering discipline — understands the ask thoroughly before diving into implementation
- Quick learner who can come up to speed on a current codebase fast

Good to Have
- Python experience
- Prior experience building automation frameworks from early-stage/low coverage
- Experience working on newly built UIs or first-release products
