Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Python, Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), PostgreSQL, Microservices Architecture, and Kubernetes-based deployments. The role involves designing and developing scalable APIs, enterprise applications, and microservices while integrating with internal and external systems using contemporary authentication, messaging, and DevOps practices.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in backend application design, REST API development, event-driven architectures, database optimization, and cloud-native application development. The candidate should be comfortable working across the entire software development lifecycle, from solution design to production deployment and support.
Roles & Responsibilities
Experience you would be expected to have
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend platforms supporting enterprise-scale workloads.
- Design and implement Microservices Architectures with clear service boundaries, resiliency, and scalability considerations.
- Develop integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, webhooks, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven patterns.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, indexing strategies, and performance tuning activities.
- Implement asynchronous processing using Kafka and message-driven architecture patterns.
- Integrate applications with enterprise authentication and authorization platforms using OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth2, and Azure Entra ID.
- Implement secure secret management utilizing Vault/OpenBao and security best practices.
- Create and maintain Docker images and support Kubernetes-based deployments.
