About the Role

Our client, the creative and digital services division of a global organization, is seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting operations.

This is an individual contributor role focused on hands-on execution, accuracy, and compliance. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a structured setting, is strong in accounting fundamentals, and can maintain clean and reliable financial records in a fast-paced, digital setup.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations (Core Focus)
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and maintain clean books
- Process vendor payments, reimbursements, and other financial transactions
- Maintain proper documentation, approvals, and audit trails for all transactions

Compliance & Taxation
- Support statutory compliance including GST, TDS,



and other applicable regulations
- Stay updated on changes in tax and regulatory requirements and assist in implementation
- Coordinate with external consultants for compliance-related filings

Payroll Support
- Review and validate payroll inputs including salary, deductions, and reimbursements
- Ensure payroll entries are accurately recorded and compliant
- Collaborate with HR/payroll teams (no end-to-end ownership required)

Audit & Controls
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual audits
- Perform timely reconciliations across all accounts
- Follow internal controls and proactively flag discrepancies

Reporting & Basic FP&A; Support
- Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly/quarterly)
- Support basic budget tracking and expense monitoring
- Assist with P&L; reviews and financial analysis as needed

Systems & Process
- Work extensively with accounting tools such as Zoho Books or similar ERP sy
