As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions tailored to specific requirements. This role includes guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position requires ensuring that development practices meet high standards for code quality, scalability, and performance,



all while aligning with the broader business goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders and continuous evaluation of technical approaches are integral parts of the daily routine to drive successful project outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Lead architecture and implementation of cockpit application suites including media navigation phone cluster virtual gauges HUD projections and settings applications

2. Define application frameworks and design patterns such as MVVM Clean Architecture and MVP for scalable maintainable cockpit software across OEM and Tier 1 programs

3. Drive integration of cockpit applications with AAOS VHAL Car Service APIs middleware layers and vehicle CAN and SOMEIP data sources

4. Lead cockpit application development teams through design reviews code reviews and technical mentoring sessions

5. Collaborate with client UX teams to translate design prototypes from Figma and SketchUp into product
