About The Job:
- We are seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer – Cockpits with solid expertise in automotive interior systems, product development, and project management.
- The role is responsible for leading end-to-end development and industrialization of cockpits, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, organizational standards, and global program timelines for quality, cost, and delivery.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead end-to-end development of Cockpits,
acting as the primary engineering interface with customers in collaboration with global teams
- Define and develop product designs and manufacturing processes aligned with customer specifications and Group standards
- Coordinate and execute validation testing (DVP&R;) to ensure structural integrity and safety standards are met, including Airbag deployment study, vibration and environmental testing
- Ensure technical feasibility, design convergence, and validation through close coordination with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams
- System integration, such as HVAC ducts, steering columns, and electronics (instrument clusters, displays) into the Cockpits.
- Manage and maintain program documentation within Product Data Management (PDM) systems
- Execute development activities in line with organizational protocols and Program Management System (PMS) guidelines
