PAM/IAM Functional specialist
Mandatory skills
Lead complex PAM/IAM projects—such as rollouts of new modules, integration with federation services or advanced vault solutions.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) advising internal teams on PAM/IAM best practices, architecture, and strategic improvements. You need to have a comprehensive understanding of identity management, identity governance, privileged access management and privileged access governance principles, financial services best practices, and implementation standards.
Design and implement enhancements: role-based access control models, privileged session monitoring, and automated life-cycle workflows.
Drive continuous process improvements—introduce automation, improve audit readiness, and reduce manual interventions.
Participate in compliance audits,
present findings, and remediate gaps in access governance.
Mentor junior administrators or analysts in both technical tools and process knowledge.
Support light technical maintenance, such as reviewing log files, troubleshooting connector issues, or scripting repetitive tasks where necessary.
Proactively assess risks and propose technical or procedural improvements in coordination with cybersecurity teams.
Solid grounding in IAM/PAM concepts: RBAC, least-privilege access, credential vaulting, privileged session monitoring.
Experience working with the IGA and PAM solution of One Identity and integrating identity providers (SAML, LDAP, Azure AD).
Strong analytical mindset: translating business access requirements into secure and efficient system configuration.
Excellent stakeholder communication: able to engage with business, security, external stakeholders and IT teams effectively.
