Backup Provisioning/De-Provisioning as per user requirements.

Manage different restore operations: Complex and Cross restore

Analyse existing backup environment and provide expert advice for optimizations

Understanding functionalities of key Backup components/processes





Deduplication/ Encryption /Replication/Reclamation/Migration/Snapshot/Retentions

Diagnose backup products and related product issues and follow up with root cause analysis.

Candidate must possess in-depth knowledge on Backup infrastructure to administrating/architecting backup solutions

Daily corporate backups using backup software and monitoring of schedules for failed and missed backups.

Participate in Disaster Recovery, planning, Changes, Upgrades, Implementation, and tests as scheduled.

Diagnose platform issues (server and client-side) and provide Support in the complex, business-critical workplace including physical and virtual infrastructure.

Define and manage retention policies, management classes, and copy groups.

Monitor and ensure that backup server maintenance tasks are successful on a daily basis, correcting any errors when necessary.
