Essential Job Functions:

Firewall Management (Fortinet)
- Configure, deploy, and maintain FortiGate Firewalls, including policies, NAT, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), and routing.
- Manage FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer for centralized policy and log management.
- Perform firewall rule reviews, optimization, and cleanup to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor and respond to security alerts, intrusion attempts, and traffic anomalies.
- Conduct firmware upgrades, patches, and backup/restore of configurations.
- Support HA (High Availability) configurations, failover testing, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, throughput, or latency issues across zones or VPNs.
- An L2 (Level 2) Network Engineer specializing in Fortinet Firewalls and SD-WAN is responsible for implementing,



configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Fortinet security and WAN optimization solutions across enterprise networks.
- They provide advanced support, ensure security compliance, and maintain high network performance.

- Experience Range: 4 to 6
- Required skills: CNS_Network Security_Cisco
