We have a requirement for SDET Playwright

Payrate: $7 - $10/hr

Location Offshore (Preferably from cities where Infosys Development Centers are located)

Work mode: Remote (Will need to visit DC if required)

Role description:

• Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts: Create robust, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).

• Test Planning: Design and implement test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.

• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.

• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery.

• Defect Management: Identify, log, and track software defects; assist in root cause analysis and debugging.

• Cross-Browser Testing:



Ensure compatibility across multiple browsers and platforms.

• Best Practices: Advocate for automation best practices and maintain test documentation.

• Knowledge of cloud-based test execution platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).

• Familiarity with performance and security testing concepts.

Required Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience: 4+ years in test automation, with proven expertise in Playwright

• Technical Skills:

• Solid proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (Python is a plus).

• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps).

• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SuperTest).

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC
