Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with Lending, Product, Analytics and Policy teams to identify emerging credit risks and business opportunities through deep portfolio and case-level analysis
- Lead detailed reviews of default cases to identify underwriting gaps, risky behaviours, and recent negative signals
- Analyse borrower-level and portfolio-level data across multiple sources such as bureau, bank statements, SMS, and internal behavioural data to generate actionable insights
- Identify policy implementation gaps and recommend improvements in underwriting strategies, approval logic, and feature usage
- Evaluate the effectiveness of underwriting strategies and ML models through structured hindsighting and outcome validation
