About The Job:
- Looking for skilled and experienced Splunk Observability Platform Administrator to run, operate, manage, optimize, design and further develop Splunk Observability Cloud Ecosystem including related OnPrem components
- Provide end-to-end visibility into up-to-date IT systems and to measurably improve system stability, performance, and user experience by implementing and operating a powerful observability platform
Essential Job Functions:
- Administration and operation of the Splunk Observability Cloud ecosystem (including on-premises components)
- Ensure platform availability, performance, and scalability
- Manage release and upgrade processes
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for platform issues and incidents
- Monitor data volume and optimize observability costs
- Support implementation of OpenTelemetry-based observability use cases
- Manage the lifecycle of observability agents (OpenTelemetry Collector, Splunk Distribution of OTel)
- Support integration of data sources
- Kubernetes (Mandatory)
