Job Summary :
The KAM – Solar Rooftop Sales /BESS- Pune will lead the growth of the rooftop solar business across the designated region , focusing on Commercial, Industrial, Institutional and Govt.(Except utility) segments.

The role involves driving revenue and channel networks, managing key accounts, and navigating India’s rooftop solar policies, DISCOM processes, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation :
- Identify current markets , build a robust pipeline, drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for solar rooftop projects.
- Define sales targets, identifying, pursuing and closing residential, commercial, and industrial (C&I;) solar projects.
- Ensure achievement of revenue targets.

Expand business in region based on market potential.

Business Development & Key accounts :
- Drive large-ticket rooftop solar/BESS project closures in C&I; Segment.
- Generating leads, preparing technical/commercial proposals and commercial negotiations.
- Build and manage relationships with corporate clients, Industrial Clients,



Commercial clients, PSUs, MSMEs, Premium Real estate developers, and government institutions.
- Lead negotiations for CAPEX, OPEX, and PPA-based rooftop solar project.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and submit sales forecasts/reports to management.

Technical Expertise :
- In- Depth knowledge of Rooftop Solar PV systems , System types , Key components, System Sizing and generation Estimation, ROI calculations, LCOE etc.
- Understanding of BESS(Battery Energy Storage Systems), Including lithium-Ion technologies, back up Sizing ,peak shaving, and integration with solar system.
- Familiarity with EPC/installation , Project lifecycle, design development, optimal solution and maintenance.

Understanding of EMS, integration with Solar PV, and grid interaction user cases.

Channel & Partner Management :
- Develop and manage EPC partners, System integrators, distributors, channel partners, and co
