About The Client:
- The Senior Data Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of data systems, pipelines, and databases.
- This role involves troubleshooting complex data issues, optimizing data workflows, and providing advanced technical support to internal teams and stakeholders.
- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, ETL processes, cloud data platforms, and scripting, along with excellent problem-solving skills
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience in Data engineering and Support activities.
- Strong expertise in SQL (advanced queries,
optimization, indexing).
- Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting for automation.
- Knowledge of Data warehousing concepts (star schema, partitioning, etc.).
- Good understanding of monitoring tools.
- Good to have understanding, technical knowledge on ETL tools (Informatica) and Cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
Desired Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment to meet project timelines
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (Azure Data Engineer, etc.) will be a plus
