About The Job:
- The Compensation and Benefits Accounting Team is a part of the Office of the CFO and Controllership organization.
- The Associate will be a member of a team of professionals that serve as the organizational center of excellence for compensation, perks,
and equity plan accounting to deliver best in class accounting and support business partners with reporting and analysis.
- The Associate will be responsible for accounting and reporting for compensation, benefits and equity plans.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure complete, accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes for compensation (Various short term and long term award plan), benefits and equity plan accounting.
- Prepare and record monthly journal entries and adjusting entries, as needed.
- Prepare pre-close month over month variance analysis and explanations.
- Work independently to monitor, maintain, and reconcile complex general ledger accounts; liaise with cross functional team to research and resolve reconciliation exceptions.
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc reporting.
- Cross train on various accounting functions within the team.
- Participate in completing and reviewing internal and external audit requirements.
