Essential Job Functions:
- Distributed Engineering infra includes servers, storage, backup, Operating systems and application software, VMware, Infoblox, SAN Switches etc.
- Following ITSM framework for Incident Management, Change Management and Problem management
- Will be responsible for all new builds, re-builds, configuration & re-configuration related to distributed engineering infra*
- Server, SAN, NAS, VMware, backup devices health monitoring in terms of Disk space,
CPU & Memory utilization leading to the proactive alarm to take the corrective action
- Mail/Incident management: Day to day mail/incident related activities like ID recertification, password reset, mailbox quota management, Mail queue monitoring, policy related issues, printer access issue etc.
- Back-up and restoration management: Management and report out of Daily/weekly Backups as per laid down backup policy with periodic restoration drill.
- Virtual Infra Management: Management of virtual infra with respect to creation of datastores, allocation of resources, periodic upgrades, virtual infra enhancements
- Storage Management – Management of SAN and NAS storage workplace that includes provision of LUNs, SAN switch zoning, end to end management of storage connectivity, real time monitoring of storage related issues.
