Essential Job Functions:
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code on GCP using Terraform.
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure provisioning and application deployments on GCP.
- Manage and administer GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, Cloud SQL, and Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Implement and enforce infrastructure security best practices on GCP, leveraging services like Cloud IAM, Security Command Center, and VPC Service Controls.
- Monitor GCP infrastructure performance using Cloud Monitoring and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their infrastructure requirements on GCP and provide support.
- Contribute to the development of infrastructure standards and best practices for GCP.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies and tools.
- Contribute to the team's knowledge sharing and documentation efforts, particularly related to GCP.
Qualifications:
- 9–12 years
Required Skills and Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and experience with Terraform.
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools and platforms (e.g., Spacelift, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
