About the Role & Team
IDC is starting a new HR Services Team that will centralize HR request and services. This is part of a global team that provides HR services to the organization. The HR Services Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for employees and managers seeking HR information, support, and services. This role provides timely, accurate, and employee-focused support across a broad range of HR topics while completing HR transactions, resolving cases, and ensuring consistent application of HR policies and processes.
What You’ll Do
Resolve routine inquiries directly, completes assigned HR transactions, and escalates more complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR team.
Provide an excellent employee experience through timely, thoughtful, accurate, empathetic service and solutions.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and manager HR questions through the HR case management system.
Respond to questions related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, time off, leaves, employment verification, onboarding, offboarding, HR systems,



and other employee lifecycle processes.
Resolve Tier 1 and appropriate Tier 2 HR inquiries, escalating complex, sensitive, or specialized matters when needed.
Support employee lifecycle activities including current hires, transfers, promotions, organizational changes, leaves, and terminations.
Assist employees and managers with HR systems and self-service tools.
Maintain accurate case notes, documentation, and employee records.
Create and maintain HR knowledge articles, standard operating procedures, templates, and other service center resources.
Identify recurring employee questions, process gaps, and opportunities to improve HR services or increase employee self-service.
Partner with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, HR Operations and other teams to resolve employee issues.
Protect confidential employee information and follow established data privacy and security requirements
