About the Team
We are looking for experienced data engineer with backend development experience with a growth mindset to join our Strategic Data Intelligence team associated with the AI and Data. We are responsible to ingest, transform, analyze, self-serve all data related to Strategic Data Intelligence(SDI) for enabling data-driven decision making. As a Data Engineer III, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting the company's data-driven initiatives.
Location: Bangalore

What you'll do:
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance data pipelines to manage massive datasets.
- Leverage cutting-edge technologies to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions.
- Manage and optimize data pipelines for analytics and operational use.
- Ensure data quality and governance across the data lifecycle.

What you'll bring:




- 4–6 years of hands-on experience building robust data solutions, with expertise in data modeling, warehousing, ETL processes, and distributed computing frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Scala and Spark for data processing, analytics, and building scalable pipelines.
- Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Big Query, GCS, and Data Proc, along with near real-time data ingestion using Kafka and Spark Structured Streaming.
- Strong working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL systems, with an in-depth understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Proficiency in Git/version control, CI/CD pipelines, workflow schedulers like Airflow, and working with large-scale data sets.
- Familiarity with BI/visualization tools like Tableau or Looker
- Hands-on exposure to Generative AI (Gen AI), Agentic AI is a strong plus
