Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced UK Accountant with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in UK Accounting. The ideal candidate should have a positive understanding of UK accounting processes, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day UK accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Prepare and maintain financial statements, accounts, and supporting schedules.
Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Assist with VAT returns and other UK compliance-related activities.
Prepare working papers and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
Work with internal teams and clients to resolve accounting queries.
Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and deliverables.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in UK Accounting.
Good knowledge of UK accounting principles and practices.
Experience with bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and VAT.
Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and analytical skills.
