Ensuring Chart’s Success…

The Sales Manager – Mining will drive growth for Chart/Howden’s Mining business by developing strong customer relationships, identifying and qualifying opportunities, and leading commercial pursuits from inquiry to order closure across mining ventilation, compression & cooling solutions. This role requires deep product understanding, strategic market engagement, and effective collaboration across internal functions to deliver high‑value solutions to clients.

What Will You Do?
- Sales & Customer Management
- Build and manage strong relationships with mining operators, EPCMs, and consultants
- Lead the full sales cycle; from inquiry to order closure, with disciplined qualification and forecasting.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to support sustained business growth.
- Technical & Product Expertise
- Maintain solid knowledge of mining ventilation fans, compressors, cooling systems, and digital monitoring solutions
- Translate customer needs into explicit, value‑driven technical and commercial solutions.




- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client challenges and recommending appropriate offerings.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Business Solutions, Controls Systems, Services, and BU teams to ensure accurate, compliant proposals.
- Provide structured market feedback to support product & strategic priorities.

4. Business Growth & Strategic Planning
- Drive order growth through targeted pursuits and structured account planning.
- Deliver market insights on competitors, EPC dynamics, pricing pressures, and mine-site requirements.
- Support long‑term strategic initiatives aligned with business objectives.

5. Proposal & Commercial Management
- Lead the development of proposals, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Ensure competitive, accurate submissions and maintain rigorous Salesforce discipline.
