The position is accountable for development and accuracy of basic estimates and quotes related to cellulosic PFP projects after training by the team
Key Activities
Analyse drawings, material lists,
specifications and other documentation to produce estimation reports for cellulosic projects
Uses PlanSwift or other estimating software to produce steel schedule
Undertakes assessments manually or by using Intercalc estimation software
Uses mathematical equations to determine the correct and accurate estimates
Coordinates with sales on all changes in scope, questions or clarifications regarding the work, during the bidding process.
Understands and adheres to estimate deadlines requests and the effort necessary to meet those requirements.
Ensures estimates are logged into appropriate system (at present CRM) for measurement, management and tracking.
Coordinates development of the estimate with functional departments as required
Understanding of all default notes used in relation to estimation
Develops positive overview of all Interchar fire protection products, their pros and cons
Awareness of competitors products, positioning and behaviour
Manages the communication of the esti
