Job Title

Technical Lead – SQL Server Migration

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end migration execution. Coordinate activities across DBA, development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
Define migration runbooks and cutover plans. Conduct technical assessments and risk analysis.
Review application dependencies and compatibility with RDS.
Lead migration rehearsals and production cutovers.
Ensure adherence to architecture and security standards.
Monitor project quality, timelines, and deliverables. Resolve complex technical issues during migration.
Facilitate stakeholder communication and status reporting.

Required Skills

8+ years of SQL Server experience.
5+ years of technical leadership experience.
Hands-on AWS cloud migration experience.
Solid understanding of:
AWS RDS SQL Server
AWS DMS
EC2-based SQL deployments
High Availability and Disaster Recovery




Performance Optimization
Experience with Agile project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certification.
Experience leading enterprise cloud migration programs.

Contract Details

This is a 2.5-month contract / consultant opportunity with a budget of up to ₹2.25 lakh per month, depending on relevant experience and technical expertise.
