About the Role
The Social.co is looking for a talented and versatile Cinematographer / Video Editor to join our growing creative team.
The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable behind the camera and on the editing desk. From conceptualising and shooting engaging content to editing, colour grading, sound design, and adding motion graphics, we are looking for someone who can take ownership of the entire video production process.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone with a strong visual eye, technical understanding, and a passion for creating engaging digital content.

Key Responsibilities
Conceptualise, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for social media, digital campaigns, brands, and clients.
Handle end-to-end video production, from understanding the brief and planning the shoot to final delivery.
Shoot reels, brand films, product videos, interviews, lifestyle content, event coverage, and other digital content.
Plan shots, compositions, camera movements,



lighting, and overall visual direction.
Handle cameras, lenses, lighting, audio equipment, and other production gear effectively.
Edit short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
Create engaging reels using strong pacing, transitions, storytelling, sound design, and visual effects.
Add motion graphics, text animations, titles, transitions, and other visual elements to enhance video content.
Handle colour correction and colour grading to maintain a consistent and skilled visual aesthetic.
Source, edit, and integrate music, sound effects, voiceovers, and other audio elements appropriately.
Adapt video content into different formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements.
Work closely with social media managers, content strategists, graphic designers, and clients to execute creative concepts.
Participate in brainstorming session
