Job Summary
We are looking for an HR Generalist with hands-on experience in Indian payroll processing and HR operations. The role will primarily focus on payroll activities, including attendance and leave calculations, payroll inputs, salary processing coordination, and coordination with the Finance team.
The role will also include employee documentation, background verification coordination, branch and regional HR coordination, and other general HR operations.
Candidates with prior experience in the Financial Services or BFSI sector will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end Indian payroll processing.
Collect, verify, and process monthly payroll inputs.
Manage attendance and leave calculations.
Coordinate salary inputs, deductions, incentives, and other payroll components.
Work closely with the Finance team for payroll and salary processing.
Maintain accurate payroll and employee records.
Handle employee documentation and HR operational activities.
Support joining and exit formalities.
Coordinate background verification activities.
Coordinate with branches and regional teams for HR-related requirements.
Maintain employee files and HR documentation.
Support day-to-day HR Generalist activities.
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee and payroll data.
Candidate Requirements
1–3 years of relevant experience in HR Generalist, Payroll, or HR Operations.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Indian payroll.
Experience in attendance and leave management.
Good understanding of payroll inputs and salary processing.
Experience coordinating with Finance and other internal departments.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
Solid documentation and record-management skills.
Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
Ability to handle sensitive employee information confidentially.
Financial Services / BFSI experience preferre
