Role Description This full-time, in office Academic Counselor role is based in Bengaluru South and focuses on Edtech sales, specifically IIT course sales. The Academic Counselor will consult with students and families to understand academic goals, clarify course options, and recommend suitable IIT-focused programs. Responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, following up with leads, explaining course features and outcomes, and guiding learners through the enrollment process. The role involves maintaining accurate records of interactions,



collaborating with sales and academic teams, and meeting defined conversion and revenue targets. The Academic Counselor will also participate in outreach activities, webinars, and information sessions to build awareness of CAREERBLOC’s offerings.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support learners in making informed course selections.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to clearly explain course structures, outcomes, and enrollment details to students and families.
Candidates should possess Career Counseling and Education-related skills to align IIT course recommendations with long-term career goals.
Relevant experience in Edtech sales, academic counseling, or admission consulting is beneficial.
