Role Profile:
- This is a server-side C/C++ role which involves renovating and enhancing the Equities position keeping system.
- You will support and lead different phases of the product lifecycle, including development, testing and deployment
- You will work across the core application, which is written in C, the test framework in Python and the back-end data store, which is Sybase.
- You will work both on enhancing the current application's capabilities, and in modernizing, scaling and streamlining it's codebase.
- You will be a technically proficient and enthusiastic developer, with the desire to produce high-quality code and work across the software stack in order to help engineer new and existing components
- You will work closely with the global team, in particular with the teams in Bengaluru, Budapest and London

Skills Required:
- Significant experience with contemporary C and C++ and good experience with Python and SQL is the core skillset
- Experience with Linux and shell scripting is also required
- Experience with Perl is a plus
- Candidates will have strong engineering and analytical skills, excellent communication and the ability to work in a global team.
