Role Descriptions: The primary responsibility is to manage and maintain the SolarWinds Orion platform| ensuring high availability and performance. The engineer will configure monitoring tools and develop dashboards for effective observability. They will act as the L3 escalation point for complex incidents| performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures. Additionally| the role involves mentoring L1/L2 engineers and preparing documentation for operational governance. Continuous optimization of the monitoring environment is also a key responsibility.

Essential Skills: Experience with cloud technologies| particularly AWS and Azure monitoring integration| is beneficial. Familiarity with ITIL practices and certifications can enhance a candidates profile.



Knowledge of ServiceNow integration is a plus| as it aligns with the automation and incident management aspects of the role. Additional certifications in SolarWinds or related fields can provide an advantage. Soft skills such as stakeholder management and team leadership are also valuable.Strong expertise in SolarWinds administration is essential| including experience with the Orion platform and performance tuning. Proficiency in infrastructure knowledge| particularly in Windows and Linux environments| is crucial. Candidates must demonstrate solid analytical and troubleshooting skills| as well as the ability to lead incident resolution. Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell and Python is required for automation tasks. Excellent communication and documentation skills are also necessary for mentoring and training purposes.
