We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test(SDET) with a passion for innovation and excellence in software testing with 4-7 Years of overall experience . The ideal candidate will be proficient in automation frameworks like Playwright, selenium and have hands-on experience with shell scripting, BDD framework, and possess a robust understanding of AWS services. The candidate will be responsible for testing both UI components , Backend, APIs, Batch jobs and automating end-to-end workflows, and contributing to process improvements and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test suites using Playwright, shell scripting.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across UI, Database, Batch jobs and AWS resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Automate complex end-to-end workflows and continuously improve test coverage.
Coordinate End-to-End testing across different product and domain teams
Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.
Contribute to and maintain testing documentation, standards, and best practices
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve quality and
maintainability.
Innovate and propose new approaches to enhance automation efficiency and
effectiveness.
Document the design, steps, and usage of automation workflows clearly. Provide user guides or runbooks for automated processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing within the team.
Document and Track test artifacts inappropriate applications – Jira, source-code control (test automation scripts)
Maintain tools used in test development, including source control, test management, and release systems
Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices
