About The Job:

- The Cloud Architect will be responsible for the creation of a technology framework and providing technical leadership in support of AJG initiatives in cloud computing and automation, with a focus on the design of systems and services that run on cloud platforms. Lead technical teams across the organization to achieve cloud transformation goal. Coach members of the team, drive solutions forward and be able to take a pragmatic approach to ensure success in challenging environments.
Essential Job Functions:
- Leading and architecting Azure cloud solutions in enterprise environments
- Taking responsibility for the end-to-end technical solution
- Technical leader and providing guidance to all cloud projects
- Analyzing divisional business requirements and translating these to the right technical solution
- Leading divisional workshops and working as part of agile teams
- Documenting technical strategy, solutions and reviewing component designs
- Actively sharing knowledge within the team and cloud Community
- Contribute to DevOps development activities and complex development tasks
- Define optimal design patterns and solutions for high availability and disaster recovery for cloud applications
- Work on designing/implementing/automation procedures for deployment, configuration, patching and upgrading of systems and applications
